Tonight we went to the amazing Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to see the Joffrey Ballet.

The evening was perfect.  The second piece of the program was “After the Rain”, choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon and with music by Arvo Pärt , and that was the highlight of the night.  The pas de deux in the middle of the piece was exquisite.  Kudos to the dancers: Victoria Jaiani and Fabrice Calmels.

The main piece of the night though, was “The Rite of the Spring”, choreography by Nijinsky and music by Igor Stravinsky, celebrating 100 years since its premier in Paris.

For the occasionI wore skinny black jeans by J.Lindeberg, black leather jacket by Zara and grey cotton shirt by Benetton.

And one more picture: The facade of the beautiful Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The place where the Academy Awards took place when I was a kid. For me this was a legendary place. And still is.
