The pictures today were taken at the door of my favorite flower shop in Los Angeles: Gilly Flowers at the Sunset Junction. I didn’t even ask for permission. I just stood under the frame of the main entrance. The flowers here are always fresh and the selection is always unique and special.
This is just one more way to celebrate spring.

The last picture is of my dog Hershey and my shadow during our late afternoon walk. The sun was low in the horizon and as you can see our shadows were long and skinny. You will notice that there is garbage on the sidewalk, but when I am walking my dog all I see is his happy face.
