Yesterday was a very especial day. It was a glorious one given how perfect the weather was. And very significant given what I did.
In the morning I went to the LACMA to visit the Kubrick Exhibition. It is absolutely wonderful. Then we walked around the museum and stopped in front of Levitated Mass (by Michael Haizer) for some pictures.
Later it was time for the official premier of the Shaping Sound show and it was fantastic. Not only the show was absolutely great, but the actual event was fabulous. People like Lance Bass, Paula Abdul and the director Adam Shankman plus a big number of extraordinary dancers were there. It was the perfect “people watch” occasion. The pictures below were taken on the Red Carpet and I posed with my designing partner Gregory Anderson. Together we designed the set for the show and we couldn’t be happier.
Now the company is on the road for the next month. I hope the tour goes flawlessly and that they will return home safe, happy and covered in success!
In the morning I wore shorts by H&M and shirt by Sisley. In the evening I wore a short suit by Zara, shirt by H&M and shoes by Kenneth Cole. The original suit had long pants, but I modified it a couple of years ago it to make it more interesting for the summer.
