Today we had small elections in Los Angeles. We decided -among other things- who would be the next mayor of our city.
I love exercising my right to vote so I undoubtedly went and voted. You can see part of the small sticker they put on you on my shirt in one of the pictures. It says “I Voted”. I kept it on all day with pride. These small elections don’t attract too many people (someone joked that I was one of the four people that voted in L.A.) but they are really important and the outcomes affect our daly life in many ways.
