Last night I went to the bar at Cafe Stella with some really good friends to celebrate my move to NYC. We had a great time. It’s funny that this is a very L.A. bar but it has a very N.Y. vibe. Which made perfect sense for the occasion.
Most of the friends that came I met during my time working at OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, and it was really fun to remember the “old” days there and I enjoyed sharing (again) the great moment when I met Oprah for the first time and she said “Every day is a good day to meet Jesus” pronouncing my name in English. And then she gave me one of those really famous hugs. Impossible to forget.
