Today I am including pictures of one of the most original buildings in New York City: The Hearst Tower. (history)
The tower was designed by the architect Norman Foster (British), keeping the original pedestal built in 1927 and considered a land mark that needed to be kept. The tower was the first green high rise building in NYC when it opened in 2006. Norman Foster is one of the most amazing architects in the world and many of his buildings are landmarks all around the world. One of my favorites is his design for the Subway (metro) in Bilbao, Spain. Simply stunning.
