I think I have been very clear about how much I love Chicago. In the last few days I have enjoyed this city in many ways. And, as a fan of beautiful architecture, Chicago is a source of awe and inspiration for me as it is for many.
Today I took the Architecture River Tour and it was spectacular.
The city is blessed by may exceptional work by architects like -my beloved- Mies van der Rohe, Bertrand Goldberg, Ricardo Bofil, Frank Gehry and many many others. It is also the birth pace of the style known as “Chicago School”. And because there is not a code that mandates what style can be built where, the overall feel is extremely eclectic but gorgeous nevertheless.
