Today I flew back home to NY (beautiful picture from the air below) from Atlanta, where last night took place the BET Hip Hop Awards. It was a great night with great performances including Snoop Dogg (who also hosted the show), P Diddy, Kendrick Lamar (who is in the process of becoming the biggest star of Hip Hop) and many others. The show will air on BET on October 15th.
But the star of the night was Fashion. Particularly shoes. It is amazing how in the Urban community girls don’t hold back in terms of making a fashion statement. And the shoes are the ultimate accessory. They are sexy, sometimes outrageous, and always fabulous.
I asked the ladies if I could take some pictures of their shoes and today I am sharing some of them here.
Today feels like the temperature is starting to rise a little and I think I wore a scarf for the last time in maybe the next 10 days. Not that I am complaining.
