Today I continued to explore New York serving almost as a tour guide to my visitors from Miami. We had a really nice brunch at The Place in the West Village and then we went to visit the 9/11 memorial. The fountains are so beautiful and elegant and dignified. It takes you breath away how they symbolize such tragedy and loss in a serene and powerful design (the park was designed by the architect Michael Arad and the landscape architect Peter Walker)
Later we went to Eataly and bought some cheese, prosciutto and anchovies in order to have some tapas back in my apartment. It was a truly wonderful weekend.
