Today I had a very fashionable day. It’s Fashion Week in NYC and I was invited to two fashion shows. It was unexpected but really fun.
The first show was the Venezuelan designer Angel Sanchez, who gained international notoriety after designing the wedding dresses for Sandra Bullock and Eva Longoria. His Spring Collection for 2014 was clean, elegant and beautiful. In the crowd I saw the gorgeous Chiquinquira Delgado and Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza. Below you can see pictures of both women. Yes, Venezuelan women are truly beautiful.
The second show tonight was Libertine at the main tent in the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week complex (At the Lincoln Center). An amazing collection of vintage and recycled clothes that have been altered adding unexpected elements like crystals, paint, buttons, etc making them almost works of art. It is the ultimate “bling collection” and it works! It is super cool and really fun, yet very elegant.
Today I’m wearing skinny jeans by April 77, blazer by Ermenegildo Zegna, shirt by Ben Sherman and shoes by Wolverine 1000 Mile.
